cleaning
Good oral care is part of a healthy lifestyle. A simple routine of daily teeth brushing, good eating habits and regular dental visits can help prevent gum disease and tooth decay. Early detection can save you time and money in the long run.
Fillings & crowns
Fillings are necessary when you have a cavity to prevent it from getting larger. If left untreated, the cavity will continue to grow and lead to infection and/or tooth loss. A crown is necessary when a large portion of your tooth is missing, there is a crack on your tooth, or for protection of your tooth after root canal therapy.
Extractions
When wisdom teeth grow in sideways, become infected, or are causing crowding, you may want to extract it early on to save you from trouble and pain in the future. See your dentist regularly so he/she can monitor the progress of your wisdom teeth.

Zirconium Dental Crowns
Zirconium dental crowns are made from a strong, safe material called zirconium dioxide. These crowns are incredibly durable and look very natural, blending perfectly with your other teeth. Unlike metal or porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, zirconium crowns are less likely to chip or crack and don't have a noticeable metal line. They're also thinner, which means more of your natural tooth can be preserved. Plus, zirconium crowns are metal-free, making them ideal for people with metal allergies.

Meet Dr. Sony Dao
Dr. Sony Dao graduated from the University of the Pacific (UOP) Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Before pursuing dentistry, he completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering at California State University of Fresno, and worked as an electrical engineer for the Navy for eight years. Since his graduation from dental school in 1996, he has focused on practicing general dentistry. As a member of both the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, Dr.Dao remains committed to delivering exceptional patient care through regular participation in continuing education courses. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf with his son at the Costa Mesa Country Club, traveling, and repairing cars.
